I’m sitting here working on my clients taxes and thinking… There are a few things I LOVE to see and hear from my clients. I decided to share a few of them with you.
I LOVE to see Form 1099-INT (Interest Income) that is independent from your to do with a home mortgage escrow account. Why? This means you’re actually holding (as in not spending) every dime that comes into your hands. Bravo!!!
I LOVE to see a single Form 1098 (Mortgage Interest Statement) with an ending balance of $0.00 (zero). Why? This means you paid your mortgage OFF and in FULL; you didn’t refi and go to another lender. You now actually own your real estate free and clear! Have a mortgage burning party!
I LOVE to see that first Form 1098-T (Tuition Statement) with my adult client’s name on it! Why? It means one of the adults in the household has decided to go to college or vocational college. Hats off to you for moving forward with your goals!
